What can you tell me about the safety of the dunes?
Do you charge extra for each additional child?
Can I put up an additional tent on my site?

If you are staying on a Water/Electric site, you can put up an additional tent, however there may be extra fees involved. If there are more than 2 adults on the site, an extra tent will cause an extra unit fee ($35-$50) to be placed on the balance of your reservation each night the tent is up. Please note: Tents are prohibited on any Premium or Full Hook-up site.
How far is the Sand Dunes and the Lake Michigan Beaches from Jellystone?

Can I access Lake Michigan from the dunes?
What are the requirements to take my vehicle on the dunes?

It is required by the State to have a recreational passport, ORV Sticker, and a state trail permit. Also, it is required to have a 10ft. flag attached to the front of your vehicle. ATV operators are required to wear helmets. On weekends and holidays, it is required to purchase a Parking Voucher to reserve a space for those trailering ORV vehicles to enter the Dunes. It is not required on weekdays. For more information contact the State Park (231) 873-3083.

*As of 2015, Dune Ready Vehicles do not require vouchers at any time.
Where are the Silver Lake Beaches and Boat Ramps?

The only public beach on the east side of Silver Lake is located in the State Park. There is public access and boat ramps located all around the lake. The closest public access to Dunetown Camp Resort is 1/4 mile. There is no overnight docking available. The Sand Dunes that border the west side of the lake make for great beach and water fun.
Do you have a pool?

How old to you have to be to rent a campsite/rental unit?
Can I check into my campsite earlier than 3:00pm?

Unless you have set up a special arrangement with us ahead of time, you will not be able to check in early. Campsites are typically booked back to back during our busy season (June-August), so the site will be occupied until 12:00pm (and then needs to be cleaned) on the day of your arrival.
